Halloween Eve Book Signing for STRUCK

Now I'm ready too. Feels right. This horror author has a Halloween eve book signing AND a lightning bolt pumpkin to help highlight my paranormal thriller Struck.

If you're local to Albuquerque, I hope you'll come by. This is my 2nd book signing ever. The first one was great fun and I sold many books, but I still worry I'm going to end up standing beside a pile of books all alone. So come say boo!

I met a talented woman during the editing process of Dark Knowledge, my editor, Nerine Dorman.

Nerine lives in Cape Town, South Africa. She edits for various publications and as a freelance editor, she's had short stories and travel articles published, and now she is under contract for two novels, the first of which comes out this year. Nerine's novels are supernatural horror, the darker side of horror.

I'm pleased to have Nerine here on my blog today, where I can ask her a few questions about her upcoming novel, her fiction, and her passions.

I've caught the Halloween spirit. Can you tell?

Now I know what you're probably wondering. Am I thanking Cullan for turning my picture into a vampire or did Cullan actually turn me into a vampire? Let me clear that up. No, Cullan did not turn me into a vampire.

Now I know what you're probably wondering. I wrote that Cullan didn't turn me into a vampire, but I didn't actually state I wasn't a vampire. So am I?

That question will be answered well enough in the upcoming issue of my Horror with Heart newsletter, due out tomorrow.

Something else is due out tomorrow. October 19 is the official release date for my paranormal thriller/horror novel Dark Knowledge. It will be available in all forms of e-book for your reader or computer. I'll have purchase links on my website.

"The Paranormal" Talk & My First Book Signing

A big weekend awaits me. Tomorrow, I speak at the Land of Enchantment Romance Authors (LERA) monthly program from 1 - 3 PM. My talk is "The Paranormal." I'll discuss things I've learned while incorporating different paranormal elements into my novels.

Sunday is the last day of Albuquerque's Balloon Fiesta and my first book signing ever, so once you've seen the balloons take off, come to Albuquerque's Old Town, soak up some atmosphere, and eat a great lunch. Then pop in to Treasure House Books & Gifts and say hey. I'll be there from 1 - 3 PM. It's directly across from the main plaza in Old Town.

WooHoo! for Struck's Midwest Book Review

Struck received a great, comprehensive review from talented author and Midwest Book Reviewer Aaron Paul Lazar.

The review isn't up on Struck's Amazon page or the Midwest Book Review site yet, but it's already posted in full here: STRUCK: a brilliant paranormal thriller (I must add that I love the title of that article *smile*).

Here are just a couple snippets from the review (that include a couple snippets from the novel):
