SWW Parris Award and me

Yesterday at the 2009 SouthWest Writer's Awards Banquet, I received "the highest honor bestowed upon a volunteer," The Parris Award. It's given in recognition of a member who has worked hard for the organization, helped other writers, and has a body of published work. It was an honor indeed to receive this award. I'm still smiling.

That's Rob Spiegel, SWW President, me, and Larry Greenly, SWW Vice President.

  1. Wow! I'm so proud. So very honoured too. You deserved the Parris Award, Keith. In every way.

  2. Thanks, Joylene. You deserve about half a dozen of them.
